The Kentucky Opioid Assistance and Resource Hotline, a part of the Kentucky Poison Control Center supported by state and federal funds, is available 24 hours a day / 7 days.  Healthcare providers and first responders, patients and concerned residents in KY can speak directly with a trained medical professionals at the Kentucky Poison Control Center to learn about safe drug disposal, naloxone, withdrawal and medications for treatment of opioid use disorder, as well as how to manage potential fentanyl exposures.

Operation UNITE provides a toll-free Treatment Referral Line for anyone seeking assistance with a substance use disorder. This line is available during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Individuals seeking treatment for themselves or others – as well as family members who have questions or are in need of support – can call the referral line to learn about available treatment programs in the region and the appropriate steps they must take in order to enter a program that will meet their needs. All calls are kept confidential.
