Thank you for your continued support of KPhA. Members like YOU empower us to advocate and advance the pharmacy profession to improve the health of all Kentuckians. We know patients' outcomes are optimized when we are fully integrated members of their healthcare team. KPhA is committed to upholding pharmacy's high standard of care by listening and standing up for our members' needs, regardless of your practice setting.
We stand up for our members at our locally owned community pharmacies and bedside at the hospital. We stand up for you at the University lecture hall and ambulatory clinics. We stand up pharmacists and technicians at the retail chains, walk the halls of Frankfort on your behalf, offer hope at our mobile pharmacy during a natural disaster, and show up ready to fight in Washington, DC.
Our voice - the profession's voice - is the most relevant when unified. No other organization has been able to bring us together and advocate for our shared causes like KPhA. Below are a few highlights of being a member.
- Complimentary continuing education online and through our quarterly journal, The Kentucky Pharmacist
- Connections to state legislators and opportunities for face-to-face meetings at events like Pharmacy Day at the Capitol and Fall Conference
- Protection and representation of your interests with the Board of Pharmacy, Kentucky Department of Insurance, Kentucky Department of Medicaid Services, and other regulatory agencies
- Opportunities to share expertise and network through KPhA's committees and work groups
- Continuing professional development through online education, membership pop-ups, and the KPhA Annual Meeting & Convention
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to KPhA. We look forward to serving you for another year!

Make life simpler. That's a mantra we can all live by, right? From Netflix and ClickList to DropBox at work and Spotify during your commute, the subscription economy has taken over. Regardless of how we choose to benefit from our convenience-based market, it saves us time to do the things that matter. And if we are honest, it saves us money because, as the age-old adage goes, time is money.
We at KPhA want to offer you the same convenience you’ve come to rely on daily. We have heard your appeals for a more straightforward, less time-consuming registration process. This year, we are transitioning to a subscription model to eliminate the disruptive emails and the hassle of carving out time.
From the Association's standpoint, staff’s time can now be spent on more mission-critical work and, most importantly, maximizing YOUR benefits, experience, and community that come with being a member of KPhA.
To move to the subscription-based model and get on autorenewal, call Lisa Atha at (502) 665-0191. Once she sets you up, you will have more time to do what you love.
