Yellow Fever Vaccination Application Webinar Now Online

The Kentucky Department for Public Health recently updated the state Yellow Fever Vaccination Center Application. Pharmacists can now apply for this program to receive a yellow fever stamp once specified training and documentation requirements are met.

KPhA recently hosted a short informational session so pharmacists could learn more about the program. Carrie Tuggle, KDPH Immunizations Branch Yellow Fever Program administrator, and Amy Herrington, KDPH Immunizations Branch Manager, updated pharmacists on the new application process and discussed the program's requirements, including training, storage, reporting, and documentation. You can find the recording here to watch the information session

The KDPH Yellow Fever Vaccination application changes will also be covered in the upcoming APhA Travel Health Certificate Program at the KPhA Annual Meeting in Bowling Green. Dr. Clark Kebodeaux will lead participants through the live portion of the program on Friday, June 9, from 10 am to 2:30 pm. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists currently involved in travel health or those interested in travel-related vaccines to receive certification. If you are interested in registering, please review the information below.
