KPhA 2022-2023 Executive Fellow

We are delighted to announce The Kentucky Pharmacists Association's (KPhA) most recent addition to our staff. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Emily Wilkerson as the Association's first Executive Fellow.

Funded by the Kentucky Pharmacy Education and Research Foundation (KPERF), the Fellowship Program was created to facilitate the growth and advancement of the profession of pharmacy in Kentucky.

Designed to develop leaders who are prepared to assume high-level leadership roles in pharmacy practice or professional associations, the fellowship cultivates the next generation of leadership--essential to the profession's livelihood.

Dr. Wilkerson, a 2022 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, is the ideal candidate to fulfill this prestigious position. Her passion for community pharmacy and ambulatory care will serve her well as KPhA's new fellow and bring a compassionate and compelling perspective that will benefit us all.

"We are thankful for the support and generosity of the Kentucky Pharmacy Education and Research Foundation, which funded the program," said KPhA Executive Director Dr. Ben Mudd. Adding, "We are lucky to have Dr. Wilkerson join our KPhA team, and I can't imagine a better candidate to serve as our first fellow. I look for the Fellowship to flourish in future years."
