Senate Bill 188 Passes Senate Banking & Insurance Committee

SB 188, Senator Max Wise's (R-Campbellsville) comprehensive PBM reform bill, passed the Senate Standing Committee on Banking & Insurance by a unanimous vote of the Senators present and was added to the Consent Orders for the Senate floor! The Committee meeting was live streamed and will soon be available to watch back in the KET archives.

We are so excited to see this next step toward success of our profession's highest priority policy goal this session! The bipartisan list of co-sponsors on the bill includes a majority of the full Senate, indicating widespread support for the bill in its original chamber, and likely passage when it is considered on the Senate floor.

Nonetheless, opposition is still at work. Reach out to your State Senator today to ask them to vote yes on SB 188! We have created template messages for use by you and your patients. Your patients can easily access their message on the KPhA website or by scanning the QR codes included on these printables: (1 | 2 | 3).
