CURRENT MEMBERSHIP
CATEGORIES
Active
Members
Any person licensed to practice
pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or licensed to practice
pharmacy in another state but currently residing in the
Commonwealth of Kentucky
Active Members may vote and hold any
office in KPhA.
Annual dues:
$210
1st Tier Active
Members
Any Active Member who has held a
license to practice pharmacy for not more than 12
months
1st Tier Active Members may vote and
hold any office in KPhA.
Annual dues:
$70
2nd Tier Active
Members
Any Active Member who has held a
license to practice pharmacy for not more than 24
months
2nd Tier Active Members may vote and
hold any office in KPhA.
Annual dues:
$140
Joint Members
Any Active Member and his/her Active
Member spouse (note: both members must be licensed to
practice pharmacy in Kentucky)
Joint Members may vote and hold any
office in KPhA.
Annual dues:
$315
Associate
Members
Any person not eligible to be an Active
Member but who is interested in advancing the interests of
pharmacy (including pharmacists licensed in a state other than
Kentucky)
Associate Members may not vote or hold
office in KPhA (except as a delegate representing a section of
KPhA in the annual House of Delegates at the annual
convention)
Annual dues:
$210
Student
Members
Any professional or graduate student
enrolled in any college or school of pharmacy accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or any person
who returns to an accredited college of pharmacy and is classified
as a full-time student
Student Members may not generally vote
or hold office in KPhA.
Annual dues: Provided by
KPhA
Technician
Members
Any individual who is a Certified
Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Pharmacy Technician
Certification Board
Technician Members may not generally
vote or hold office in KPhA.
Annual dues:
$50
Senior Pharmacist
Members
Any past or current KPhA member who is
65 years or older
Active Members may vote and hold any
office in KPhA.
Annual dues: $120 ($180 joint
retired)
