Auditor Edelen Calls MCOs to Account
Auditor of Public Accounts Adam Edelen exercised his contractual authority on Friday to request financial information from each of the three new Medicaid Managed Care Organizations with respect to provider claims received versus paid, the dollar value and number of all rejected claims and the reason(s) for the rejections, and the number of members being served by each MCO. KPhA applauds Auditor Edelen for his action in holding the MCOs accountable with respect to their contracts with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
